Seated in an ergonomically designed chair for your comfort the massage is performed through the clothing this eliminates the use of oils.
Chair Massage vs Massage Therapy
Chair Massage Practitioners or Specialists (CCMP) are specifically trained, certified and insured to provide a stress reducing and tension release massage targeting the common tension areas such as the neck, shoulders, back, hands and arms. We do not provide treatment, chair massage is purely for tension release and relaxation massage purposes only. Any participant that requires rehabilitation or treatment for an injury will be referred to a qualified health professional.
Chair Massage is a proactive approach to workplace wellness and a unique touch to an event. Massages are short, affordable, effective and fun.
Massage Therapy is performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who is specially trained to provide injury and rehabilitation massage. An RMT treatment session generally lasts 1 hour.
